Another Stagnant blog...

Toodling around the internet, reading through friends blogs, I stumbled across a few that hadn't been updated in a while...and I thought, "Ah sad!  Another stagnant blog...I enjoyed reading that, even if I never really made any comments."  Then, realized the same could be said of this blog!

Doh!  So!  What HAS this blogger been up to since November?!  (geesh November, time does fly!)  Let's see...

Well, most important, the Satellite returned home to Seattle for 2.5 weeks in December/January.  We had a WONDERFUL time: visiting with friends and family, eating really good food, visiting with all my animal "relatives" (rabbit nephew, Dog "cousin-in-law" ex cetera...) and doing the Christmas/New Years thing.

Shout out to this game--if you and your friends have played "Apples to Apples" and said, if only this game was more offensive...if you want to shout, laugh until you cry and generally exclaim "Oh that is SO wrong!" this is the game for you: Cards against Humanity

In other news, I must have been a "good girl" this year because Santa brought me and Dr. husband iPads for Christmas.  Which, given that good ol' Kodak my 10+ year old digital camera finally crapped out a few months ago, means I can take some excellent pictures (as long as zoom isn't involved anyways!), grant you I'll look like a jerk doing it, but sometimes a girl just needs a picture!  Also cool about the iPad I can take videos anywhere!  Not just in my office with the web cam.  Huzzah!  Grant you, so far I've just videoed my sister and nieces and a squirrel in my backyard making very whiny noises, but I'm about to get some CUTE ANIPAL SUBJECT MATTER!

I must have been a SUPER good girl this year, because I'm getting a birthday bunny!  That's right!  Dr. husband has been worn down to a point that a fluffy friend will be arriving in the next week.  Her name is (currently) Leona (most likely soon to be called "Molly"), she is an orange and black harlequin Lionhead-type rabbit from "Angels of Assisi," a no-kill animal shelter in Roanoke, VA.  She is currently being fixed, prior to our adoption, but we should be picking her up next Saturday.  *SO EXCITING*

I'll try not to make the whole blog about her (and her possible future "boyfriend"), if it starts to go that way she might just get her own blog or facebook--like our heroes Gari, Dobbye, that crazy piggie--Alfalfa and Pua Tamandua.  But for now, she'll be putting in appearances here.  Esp. as we reveal her personality around the house, tell her rescue story and build her a wonderful NIC house.

Otherwise, at some point I'll get pics up of local stuff, trips we took to Natural Bridge in October, the surrounding areas and other upcoming greatness and adventures (who knows?!).  Until then: BUNNY, bunny, bunny, BUNNY, bunny, BUNNEH!!
